Spotlight On - Natalie Evans

SPOTLIGHT ON for August features Natalie Evans, co-founder and owner of Brighton’s first organic, cold-pressed juice and smoothie bar, 42 Juice which she set up with her sister-in-law (@coral_pearl_) after her partner Gus became severely ill. Creative, hard working and the driving force behind 42 Juice, Natalie now tries to balance her time between work, her 13 month old daughter Tara and planning a wedding - it’s less than 3 weeks until she marries Gus, her partner of nearly 12 years! She has lived in Brighton her whole life and is a coffee and smoothie addict but believes life is all about balance!

P.S. Thanks to niece Ava for joining in and being an awesome model! x

I love Tiba + Marl! Their bags are so well designed, totally gorgeous and super practical, making for the perfect baby changing bag - would recommend to everyone! And because they don’t look like a typical baby bag and they’re so stylish, you can use them everyday with or without baby in tow! I love the additions of the changing mat and purse inside too - the brand have thought of everything!

Natalie On... Her Brighton hotspots:

42 Juice

My second home and my most favourite place to visit ever! Totally obsessed with the smoothies (Matcha Choc-Chip - hello), smoothie bowls and raw chocolate donuts. You just can’t visit this space and not feel happy. Seeing people love what we’ve done here is such a blessing!

The Beach

Rain or shine, you just can’t beat the healing power of being by the sea. I feel so grateful to live so close and never take it for granted! Long walks, beach huts, cute shops, great restaurants, Brighton pier, the west pier, the beach park and the i360 make it the perfect setting for a beautiful day - there really is something for everyone and I love it so much!

Lucky Beach

My favourite go-to place to eat on the beach on a sunny day. Brunch, lunch or dinner - these guys have a great menu with organic and real good quality ingredients. My favourites are the Lebanese salad and the Moving Mountains B12 Vegan Burger!

SIX

I can’t tell you how much I love the space here - its beautiful and so perfect for catching up with friends or having meetings, and the breakfast menu is one of the best in town. The terrace is a great sun spot to have a coffee or smoothie too, and it has the most gorgeous studio space upstairs for a yoga, Pilates or baby massage class!

Quince

The best florist in Brighton - Anna is amazing and her little shop is a true delight! Crystals, flowers, plants and gifts - heaven!

Cafe Rust

Breakfast is my favourite meal of the day and this gorgeous cafe has one of the best breakfasts I’ve had and it has the cutest little courtyard! There’s one in Hove too with an incredible upstairs terrace outside - oh and the interiors here are picture perfect too!

The North Lanes

I still love the North Lanes even though I’ve walked these streets thousands of times! Such an essential and vibrant part of Brighton full of hundreds of shops, cafes and pubs, it’s the best way to get caught up in the chaos and magic that Brighton has to offer!
